What is the name of the small petunias I see in hanging baskets and pots?

These flowers are smaller than the usual petinuas. Only about 1 1/2 inches in diameter. I often see them in a dark pink. Are these a variety of petunia or some other type of flower? Where can I buy some?

Reply:It may be a dwarf variety of petunia, or a vinca (perwinkle), which resembles an impatient. It may also be a type of tuberous begonia. You didn't specify what region you live in (zone).
Reply:I have seen smaller varieties of petunia but its hard to say without seeing a photo. If it looks like a petunia, then maybe it is. If you have a photo will you post it?
