Dwarf Mexican Petunia can it be replanted by cuttings? If I break of a stem can will it root in a pot?

Q: Can I grow it in a pot, put it outdoors during the summer, and bring it indoors during the winter? Any info you have on these lovely plants will sure be helpful.

A: The roots are not extensive, but it spreads like crazy. You will also want it to generate more plants (which it will do on its own) so plant it in a pot that can support them.

Full sun. It seems to grow in any type of water or soil conditions as long as it is well drained. Bring it indoors before the temp gets below 45-50 in the fall.

yes you can take cuttings.you need to clip a new or young branch, best is to get a new .stem from the old one.one that branches off. dip it in root tone, keep the soil damp amd keep the cuttings above the freezing temperature
