extend 2 fingers.... grasp dead/dieing flower pull till flower comes off... voila... u have ur first dead head...
p.s. don't think too hard about it.... plants die when people think too hard

Just snap them off at the end of the bloom. You can also cut them off at the next leaf and that will help.
