Who felt bad for Petunia after the 7th Harry Potter book?

i sort of felt bad. i mean, she actually wanted to a witch, and yet her sister was the magical one.

i felt really bad.

and i give Dudley two thumbs up for manning up and growing a good heart.

Who felt bad for Petunia after the 7th Harry Potter book?
yea. I wish that had been explored a litlte more, perhaps in the epilogue.

particularly when the last we see of Petunia, she is described as looking back as though she wants to say more, but chooses not to. And the question of how often and why she and Dumbledore corresponded isn't answered ... I'm curious ...
Reply:I felt bad for her because her hopes were smashed and it turned her into a bitter woman
Reply:I felt a bit bad for her. I was kinda hoping she'd soften like Dudley did. I was a *little* disappointed that there wasn't some mention of Dudders at the end, like perhaps he and Harry didn't totally exclude each other from their lives....
Reply:Yeah. I did too. But at the same time, I can't forgive her for the way she treated Harry. Miserable woman!

I had to reread the part with Dudley. I just couldn't believe my eyes!
Reply:i n\know! i felt terrible for her. i always wonder why she loathed lily so much.....i actually really liked her though she was cold and all....she took harry to raise him....sad...

i was quiet stunned at dudley too! very brave of him!
Reply:I could have told you she wanted the powers after seeing the first movie how dumb are you people? I'm not reading this book no way
