It is the first day of winter here in Australia,could you please tell me when petunias will arrive in the nursery.
Petunias when to plant?
In your local nursery, petunias will begin appearing at the earliest possible planting time. They will not carry them previous to this, and if they sell them at half price or discount close to the end of the season, they will continue to grow, but they'll likely be leggy and not last just a whole long time.
Reply:First day of winter and already wishing for spring, wow. I would think that petunias will arrive in early spring. Plant only when the nights are going to be above 45F, I think that is about 6 or 7 C.
