Like : Which 2 characters die?
Why are Harry's eyes important?
Is Harry the 7th horcrux?
What was Dumbledore's letter to Petunia about?
etc.
What do you think will happen in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows?
Remember how Dumbledore died? He died while he was keeping Harry frozen so Harry wouldn't be seen, therefore he died protecting Harry. And why is it that Voldemort's Avada Kedavra curse failed to kill Harry when he was a baby? Because of the charm placed on him when his mother died protecting him! In my opinion, at the end of book 7, Harry will have just gotten the crap beat out of him by Voldemort, and Voldemort will be about to kill him. However, when he tries to, he will fail because of the NEW charm placed on Harry by Dumbledore dying to save him. Hopefully, Harry and his friends will have found all the horcruxes by then and destroyed them, and Voldemort will be banished forever. Harry will then have 2 lightning bolt scars.
At least, this is what I think will happen. Dumbledore had to die for a reason. What better reason than this?
EDITED to add: Remember what Dumbledore said to Snape right before he killed him? I think it was "Please....Severus..." or something like that. Perhaps he wasn't begging to live, he was begging Snape to kill him to put the new charm on Harry. And remember when Harry was chasing him and he called Snape a coward and Snape gave him the most hateful look ever? Snape cared about Dumbledore, and was absolutely outraged that he had to kill a great man like him just to protect a kid like Harry (Snape still hates Harry, even if he doesn't want to kill him), and was very offended that Harry would have the audacity to call him a coward, after Snape just made a huge sacrifice in killing one of his dearest friends.
Reply:I'm thinking there will be many deaths of favourite and not-so-favourite characters. I think one of the trio, at least two of the Weasleys, Moody, Pettigrew, Voldemort, Tonks, many other members of the Order and a number of Harry's classmates will die in the final battle.
Harry's eyes are definitely linked to his mother in some way and I'm wondering if there are a means of accessing some weapon or tool that Lily has hidden away. I don't think Harry is the seventh horcrux though.
I think Dumbledore's letter to Petunia was a threat that if she doesn't take Harry in, he'll take something away from her that he gave to her. Either he gave her money or he might even have helped her fall pregnant with Dudley since losing her comfortable life or losing her son are two things that would really frighten her.
Overall, these are my other thoughts on DH:
- the trio will return to the school, not as schoolchildren but to help protect Hogwarts from invasion.
- the final battle will take place at Hogwarts
- many Slytherins (including Draco) will stand by the Order's side and, equally, there will be a number of people from the other Houses who will support Voldemort, bringing down this idea of House stereotypes.
- Snape will be proven good and that he only killed Dumbledore on the Headmaster's own orders. Either Hagrid, McGonagall, Moody or Aberforth know this and Dumbledore will also have left behind his penseive explaining everything.
Reply:The two characters I want to die are Harry and maybe Ron or one of the Weasleys. I fully believe Harry is the 7th horcrux, and I have ever since I finished Half-Blood Prince. I've been wondering what Dumbledore wrote to Petunia, but I have yet to come up with any theories.
But what I really really really want to see is what stinkin' side Severus Snape is on! He has been my absolute favorite character since the day I read the first book (in '99). And I've been cheering him on the whole way, so I'm really hoping that first we explore some more of his past... because it looks very interesting, and I hope he's on the good side. But I have no doubts that he is, though who knows Rowling is known for her twists!
Reply:The book will also contain what harry's parents did that made them so rich. And about Harry's grandparents. J.k. Rowling also revealed that a student and teacher will be married in the next book, but not to each other. The student, though, is obviously one that has graduated already. About Snapes love life will be in this book too. The last word in the book is 'scar'. All of what i'm saying is true because J.K. Rowling herself said it in an interview.
Reply:well i hope harry dies. lol. it wouldnt really make sense if harry was a horcrux because then why would voldemort have tried to kill him all teh time? And if he was an accidental one then Voldemort would have made another and he would have 8 horcruxs...
Reply:I think JK is going to kill Harry because she said that she wants to end the series in a way that no one can continue it.
(My friend has a theory that Harry is a horcrux because he has a scar that Voldemort gave him. Since he absorbed some of Voldemort's power, he is now a horcrux.)
That's all I know, but I think if she has to kill 2 out of the 3 main characters, she'll kill Ron and Harry because without Hermione no one would know anything. Idk.
Reply:Voldomort and Snape will die.
Harry will kill them at Godric's Hollow.
Reply:char. which die-voldie,harry or voldie/anor.
harry's eyes impt cuz they're like his mum's-a muggleborn.h'fully when voldie looks into harry's eyes at final battle he'll remember abt how he was fooled by love by lily potter. harry will kill voldie w. love as a weapon.
harry may be a horcrux.not likely for me.
Reply:i was thinking about the title and what it means. Isn't where harry's parents lived called godrics hollow? i remember them mentioning it, but i cant quite put my finger on it. i havn't had a chance to reread the previous books for some time, but i was thinking that maybe the final battle between harry and voldemort will take place in this hollow, as to why its called the deathly hollow
Reply:Harry better not die that's all I've got to say about it.
Reply:there is a rumor saying j k Rowling is going to kill harry. i hope she doesn't because i want harry and Ginny to be together in the end. i think harry is the 7th horcrux. i hope the book comes out quickly because i am dying of suspense
Reply:I haven't finished reading Book 5 yet. But I'm hoping that Harry will be spared.
And if he DOES die, I could think of half a dozen ways for him to come back, so killing him off to stop the series won't do any good. Remember: Sir James Barrie killed off Captain Hook, but that didn't stop Steven Spielberg from bringing him back in "Hook".
