How do i get petunias to keep blooming in this hot summer heat?

The Wave seems to be doing best but even it is not like it was a month ago. We're having upper 90's and 100's here in the Southeast corner of Northwest Arkansas.

How do i get petunias to keep blooming in this hot summer heat?
That will be very hard as the weather is telling them to seed up and finish their life cycle before it's too late and they get fried. You need to fool them into thinking it's not the end of their growing season. If they are in pots keep them away from the sun in the hottest part of the day. If they are in the ground I don't know except lots and lots of water.
Reply:You have to remove the old ones and then they will keep blooming,,,I think they are so pretty.
Reply:water several times a day

IN NJ did this and they were great
Reply:Keep them trimmed back and water twice a day if necessary.
Reply:Trim, fertilize with liquid fertilizer, water.

They should bloom until it snows.
