How long will it take for my window box plants to grow and are they growing quickly?

I put fish blood and bone in the soil and planted them on monday and i think they have noticeably increased in size already my neighbour even commented on them. I have trailing petunias, trailing fusia and trailiing pelargoniums.

How long till the trail and have lots of pretty flowers?

Not long, my baskets are already trailing, window boxes have a way to go, I have the same in both! just be sure to keep on top of the deadheading to keep them flowering!
Reply:Bedding growing season is actually mid june(when trailing starts) to end sept.If you plants are growing big already,it's bad news,as they will get exhausted sooner and need replacing at that difficult time when it's too late for more summer flowers, but too soon for winter ones.

The mix is not good as fuschias require different position to the other two. They like it a bit shady, the other two full sun.

Fish blood and bone, apart from being a disgusting animal holocust product is no good either. You need something that quickly get into the plants ie liquid plant food.FB/B is long term for shrubs etc.

Do not feed until end july when the nutrients run out, otherwises too much foliage at flowers expense
Reply:sprinkle them with vinegar not a lot of people know that it increases the speed and the quality at which petunias grow. Hope this helps you
Reply:another couple of weeks, you will awaake they'll be in bloom to cheer you up. use that miricle grow spray, its good.
Reply:Not my kind of plant, I prefer buds.
