What kind of perennial plant is this?

I have two plants on the side of my house that bloom In july -aug.they are about 3 ft. tall look like a shrub with soft petunia or morning glory looking flowers -Lt. pink on one plant and white on the other. They are closed in the evening and early morning and open during the day. I looked at some pictures of bush morning glories, but they dont resemble mine, actually the flowers do but not the shrub itself. Mine are very tidy looking like they never need to be pruned or anything. Oh and they are about 2or 3 ft. across. Please help me identify these. thanks

Reply:what you are describing sounds like either rhododendrons or azaleas. different types can grow anywhere from 6" - 8' tall and 6" - 6' wide. they come in a variety of colors and bloom between early spring and late fall depending on type and growing zone. maybe this will help...maye not. worth a shot though.

Reply:Campanula maybe, or a hybrid form of Morning Glory? Just guessing. Should have put a picture on I could have looked it up in my encyclopedia of perennial plants. Hope someone else can help more.
