When the Dursleys went into hiding, were they living with wizards?

Or did they just live in a house that had the protective enchantments of wizards? If they were forced to live and interact with wizards for almost a year, how do you think it went? Do you think either Petunia or Vernon could have changed in their thinking after that?

Hey, I think they did live with wizards because one of them was like "oh we'll become really good friend". I always kinda wished after reading that, that Dudley had fallen in love with some witch and ended up in the end being part of the wizarding world (even it was just having children it in), but we might find out more in the Harry Potter Encyclopedia, since it's going to fill in alot for like all characters (hopefully including the Dursleys). I bet if they did live with wizards they were awfully scared of them, and never really adapted (Veron and Petunia), Dudley probably could more. I don't think V%26amp;P will ever change their opinions completely but they might become a little more lenient
