I tried the baby powder, waiting to see what happens. Thanks for all the answers. I like the dish soap one too, I have done that before. Report It

Reply:gather up some lady bugs they eat them! I no it sounds weird but every time you find some lady bugs gather them up B-4 they end up dieing in your window seel. ITS TRUE!
Reply:Knock them off with a strong spray of water %26amp; use Ivory dish soap spray . The recommended dilution rate is 1 oz. Ivory Liquid to 1 gallon of water.

OR

1Tablsp vegetable oil and 1 Tablsp. Ivory dish soap to a gallon of water. Upon coming into contact with an insect the oil will coat and smother the insect. Use this method when it's cooler as it may burn when it's hot out. I spray my roses early in the morning.

A solution from http://faq.gardenweb.com/faq/lists/tips/... Blend together 1 garlic bulb, 1 small onion, 1 t cayenne pepper, 1 quart water. Steep one hour and add 1 T liquid hand soap

Plant repellent plants like allium (chives, garlic, onions) as companion plants surrounding or bordering the plants which are susceptible to aphids.

A spray can also be made from Seaweed, which will repel both red spider mites and aphids. It will nourish your plants, too.
